End of the Year Edmonton
11:13am - Sep 3, 2009
Lots of excitement from the last couple of rounds! Big crash in the pro sportbike race of nationals for me (Johnny) left me with a mangled bike and a broken collarbone. Things for Chris went better and he finished a competitive 15th in the amateur sportbike with a clear top speed disadvantage on the long straight away at Race City. This weekend of Sept 5th and 6th I am going to compete in the last weekend of EMRA races at Stratotech park in Edmontong as Chris is recovering from a small crash in Calgary two weeks ago. Calgary's double header is coming up on Sept 18th and 19th with racing on both days as we look to finish strong in possibly the last road race event EVER at Race City. More to come including pictures and big thanks to all our sponsors so far this year!
Parts Canada Superbike Championship
10:54pm - Jun 27, 2009
This Sunday June 28th we are participating in Round 3 of the Parts Canada Superbike championship at Race City Motorsports Park, in Calgary AB. We are running stock equipment against the best in Canada for your entertainment (and ours!). We are running different numbers with John running in Pro Sportbike #311 (Black) and Chris running amateur sportbike #113 (Red). We are located close to the entrance of the pits and we encourage you to stop by and say hi. Wish us luck, cuz we are gonna need it!
Ready to Race
3:47pm - Jun 1, 2009
This is your favorite 23yr old racer checking in. Season has started out already in Calgary with a strong weekend. Chris put 'old faithful' (04 Buell XB12) up on the podium in formula II and had good results on his new 2009 Buell 1125r. The new bike is bone stock and ran strong considering there have been no performance upgrades as of yet. The GSX-R made its first full weekend without a mechanical failure! Best result was a 5th place in middleweight and the podium was within eyesight. Nice to have some confidence back in that I can still make a motorcycle go fast when the thing doesn't chew a clutch out every weekend. Regional round 2 is coming up in 2 weeks and I look forward to dropping lap times again in preparation for the nationals at the end of June. Thats all for now and always remember to check the fuel in your bike BEFORE you head out for a race (Haha, sorry Calgary Harley but that one was too good to pass up).
We are newly Updated!
